The 43 mm monobloc case, crafted in matt black high-tech ceramic, is paired with a rose gold-coloured PVD-coated stainless steel turning bezel and a polished black ceramic insert, engraved with white Super-LumiNova® markers. Topped with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, forged at temperatures over 2,000°C and coated with anti-reflective layers on both sides, the crystal offers exceptional clarity and scratch resistance, only surpassed by diamond in hardness. At its core beats the Calibre R801, a self-winding chronograph movement developed for uncompromising reliability. Engineered with 37 jewels and regulated in five positions, it ensures precise timekeeping under the most demanding conditions. The movement is equipped with an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring. With a robust 59-hour power reserve, the R801 exemplifies technical mastery and mechanical resilience, embodying the spirit of Swiss engineering and Rado’s continued pursuit of horological excellence. The black dial reflects a pure expression of function and form. Polished rose gold-coloured indexes and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova®, while three precisely arranged counters display 12-hour, 30-minute, and small seconds functions. A date guichet at 6 o’clock and the iconic rotating anchor on a ruby backplate complete the dial’s mechanical signature. The design is completed by a matt and polished black high-tech ceramic bracelet, secured by a titanium 3-fold clasp for a seamless fit. Water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph redefines adventure—uniting Swiss precision with contemporary elegance.
