Slip on the EDIFICE TOM’S 50th ANNIVERSARY EDITION, a tribute to the historic TOM’S KP47 Starlet, a race car from the early days of TOM’S Racing. This EDIFICE high-performance motorsports chronograph commemorates the 50th anniversary of the racing team’s founding.
This collaboration pays homage to the special KP47 Starlet that made TOM’S Racing an overnight sensation with an impressive streak of minor touring race victories in the 1970s: 22 pole positions, 20 wins and three series champion victories. White, red, and green — colors symbolizing the racing machine’s fearless image — are incorporated throughout the dial and elsewhere.
The honeycomb-shaped dial evokes the TOM’S Starlet front grille in a purple hue that gives the nod to the cover of the car’s engine, with inset dials inspired by TOM’S Igeta wheels, and a TOM’S logo. The genuine leather band evokes the KP47 B-pillar and features a metal band loop styled like the car’s side mirrors. The band loop, also in the color scheme of the KP47 Starlet, is emblazoned with the first TOM’S logo, for a nostalgic touch from the early days. Green edging on the band echoes the green line featured on the KP47, and the TOM’S ace car number, 36 , is glass-printed at the 36-minute mark.
This timepiece is based on the EFS-S641 SOSPENSIONE solar-powered chronograph and boasts a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, solar charging, and sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inside surface.
The TOM’S 50th anniversary EDIFICE is very special — a genuine collaboration between two teams with a shared passion for motorsports and one that TOM’S fans will truly appreciate.
