The 2022 design was been updated from its Sixties roots with the tried and trusted automatic Calibre 4R36, giving a 41 hour power reserve and 10 bar water resistance. The "hacking" second hand stops when you pull the crown out, which means it??s easy to synchronise with a time reference - hacking is the ability to set a second hand as well as the hour and minute hands. From our Seiko 5 Sports 'Field' collection, this watch was created with an 'in the field?? military design ?? taking inspiration from a style originally called a ??trench watch,?? created to be robust and reliable in tough conditions ?? echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics.
